LA history blogger Etan Rosenbloom (EtanDoesLA.com) is on a mission to visit all 600+ Los Angeles County landmarks on the National Register of Historic Places. Join him to explore some of his favorite historic sites in the San Fernando Valley and beyond. You’ll learn about how a place becomes a federally-recognized landmark, and what it means to be listed on the National Register. Etan will also explore the unique benefits and drawbacks of approaching history through the lens of physical places.

Etan Rosenbloom is the founder, blogger and social mediator of Etan Does LA, a project documenting the history of all 600+ Los Angeles landmarks on the National Register of Historic Places. His work has been featured by the LA Times, KIIS-FM, LAist’s “How to LA” Podcast, the LA Conservancy and Friends of Residential Treasures: Los Angeles, among others. By day, Etan works for an organization that gets songwriters and composers paid when their music is played. He lives in Valley Village with his wife and kid and two cats.
