Every year, the SFVHS holds a commemoration of Memorial Day at the historic Pioneer Cemetery in Sylmar to honor those who died in service to our country. Join us At San Fernando Pioneer Cemetery for the commemoration. The service will last one hour, until noon.
You can tour the fascinating Pioneer Cemetery by appointment. Please contact the SFVHS at (818) 365-7810. You will learn about the history of the San Fernando Valley on our Walk of History. The Pioneer Cemetery is located at 11451 Bledsoe Street in Sylmar, at the corner of Foothill and Bledsoe Streets.
