Lastenia Tapia Weatherwax – As a young girl, took lessons in sculpture and oil painting from Dean J.H. Judson, Dean of the Fine Arts Department of University of Southern California, when it was in Pasadena. A watercolor of the San Fernando Mission, probably done at this time, hangs in the dining room. She has written many stories of experiences of her family and herself.
