Join us as our new SFVHS President, Buck Weber, takes us on a nostalgic musical tour of the sounds, names and places that brought music to the San Fernando Valley. The Valley has a rich musical history including country-western spots like the Palomino, teen venues like the Cinnamon Cinder, and head rattling clubs like The Country Club. Music was there to play a role in developing the SFV into the suburban metropolis it is today. Buck will spark our memories and tingle our eardrums with his media presentation on how music helped shape the San Fernando Valley.

Buck has had a love for local history since high school. He got his BA in History at CSUN with an emphasis on the History of the West. For sixteen years he shared his passion teaching high school students then transitioned to the role of encouraging other history teachers as a school administrator. Buck Joined the Society in 2022 and became President earlier this year.
